Shaw’s heart went out to Orin, but he let her keep her distance, to let whatever she needed to out. He wanted to comfort her, but he could see she was doing what Demetrius had asked of her. He waited for her to give him an answer and he was about to think he would have to ask again when she finally answer after Juliet came from under her skirt. He smiled at the girl but his attention was on Orin. He nodded as an idea formed in his head. He knew she belonged here, but would she think about coming back after everything that had happened. Maybe she could see how much safer it was now, and that he was always on the watch to make sure nothing like that happened again. Ever.
“Why not stay here. I have a place in the treetop tarrace, well many places actually. You can stay in one of those if you don’t feel safe in Thornbury.”
He said, a hopeful tone to his voice.He wanted to be able to interact with his children much more than just today or once every month. They were here now and it would kill him if he had to go without seeing his daughters again, and worrying about Orin. She was his friend if anything. He would be devistated if something happened to her.
