The female was in her Optime form - this wasn't unusual, although it was rarer than it had been. She had taken to going around in Secui form, which she used to hate, but now liked because of its intimidating form and mean stature. She heard Shawchert before she scented him, although it was almost at the same time - she was very near where the two were, being just in the garden, tending to her plants. The howl sounded from Thornbury, and she wondered what was wrong, not thinking that it may be a joiner.
Picking herself up from the dirt - she wasn't wearing clothes now, revealing tightly coiled muscles and a lean body - she lolloped towards the town, stopping when she found Shawchert and who he was talking to. She could hardly dare to believe it - although she knew that she herself would be difficult to recognize straight away with her new muscles, keen and cold gaze, and scarred body from various fights, the woman before her was equally difficult to take in and believe it was really Orin.
The parts of her that used to be pink were now white; her yellow eyes looked empty, haunted. She also had pups - pups that Skye barely remembered. Skye stepped forward slowly, cautiously, as if she were afraid that Orin would disappear if she touched her or looked away - here was one of her oldest and best friends, come back as though she had risen from the grave.
"Orin.. is that you?"
