Thank you, I'm in love with it Smile WC: 754

Robin was watching Noss with interest, the large grey male and his even larger horse, they walked together so perfectly, so neatly, the horse keeping time with the large male's steps. The little patchwork fae watched him with interest, her blue eyes following their movements with rapt interest, partially she was fascinated by the horse, such a big creature to move with such neat grace, it's heavy footfalls still being delicate and gentle somehow, but mostly she was fascinated by the grey male, he walked so well, would she manage to walk like that too? Would it be something so natural and relaxed for her too? He didn't seem to be having to think about it, he was just doing it, he was just padding along besides the horse, not having to remember to put one foot in front of the other, not worrying about his tail wagging and him toppling over, he seemed to be managing balance in bipedal form very well, not like she walked, with her wobbling steps and sudden moments where she was almost certain that she was going to fall over. She supposed that she would get used to it sooner or later, but she did not like having to relearn to walk again, it wasn't fair, she had always managed before, she had just done it when she had had four legs, why did her knowledge of walking not transfer over into this new form? It was mightily frustrating for the young female. But she knew that Robin Hood would not have given up at the first hurdle, so neither would she, she would manage somehow, soon enough she would be walking and climbing and bouncing around with her usual energy like she had been walking on two feet all of her life, soon it would happen, she was sure of it.

The male walked towards her and she fixed him with her best Robin smile, stretching her mouth into a warm smile of greeting. The grey male spoke to her in a disapproving tone, suggesting that she was too rough with the large mare that she was still petting, she nodded at him, showing that she would be more gentle with her if he thought she was being too rough. She didn't necessarily agree with him, she was certain that the horse would have chastised her with another whinny if she was still being too rough. But she did respect him, her mother and father had always taught her to be respectful towards her elders and even if this male did seem a little grumpy, then again a lot of grown ups did, she would respect him. He was kind enough to walk between the large horse and herself, the pair seemed huge as they walked past her, she stared up at them in slight disbelief, they were both so tall! Would she ever be that tall? She hoped so, maybe not as tall as the horse, but she couldn't wait to be as tall as a grown up, then perhaps her body would all be in proportion and she'd be able to walk again without wobbling over all the time. The little patchwork fae watched the pair as they disappeared into the stable, once she was sure he was out of earshot she turned to the pale horse again, “Is he always this grumpy?.” She whispered as quietly as she could. The horse's response was to give a low snort, her nostrils flaring and bowing warm air over the small female's face, blowing the tendrils of her wavy mane all over the place. The patchwork girl emitted a loud giggle and pursed her lips, blowing air back at her new friend. Stroking her nose again, smiling as the fae began to sniff at the top of her head, ruffling her chocolate mane with her snout.

Robin gave the cream mare a gentle stroke on the nose again with her small hand, whispered a goodbye and walked towards the stable where Noss and the Horse had gone. She peered in through the door, watching the enourmous horse drinking steadily from the bucket in front of it. Watching Noss sorting out bales of hay. He seemed to be very busy, she wondered if that's why he was grumpy, lots of the older wolves seemed a little grumpy when they were really busy.
"Whatcha doing?" She asked in her usual cheerful tone, looking at the grey male with a smile, leaning against the doorframe as she watched him work.
