As much as she hated to admit it, Xochime had to be more independent from her sister. There was no sense in staying around somebody who despised her openly. Moreover, she knew that she didn't like her company. Sometimes she wished that she could return to Eterne again, but the perspective of being captured and sold to slavery again sent shivers down her spine. She still hadn't forgotten her experience with Samael. No, she was now part of this family, and like part of the family, she would not abandon them.
One of the first steps that she had given so far was to explore the territory by herself. The absence of any sound (except that of her steps and the wind) resulted mesmerizing to the lively colored coyote, who found certain pleasure in these walks. These moments were for herself, just for herself. Her feet brought her to a small patch of trees, not far away from the open grasslands that predomined in the territory. Her showy eyes scanned the land as she walked further into this lonely land. It looked like she was the only soul around. Sighing, stopped under a tree and looked upwards. Somewhere in her mind she felt the urge of having some company. Not that of her siblings, but the company of somebody else, somebody who would only be there to erase the solitude which she both enjoyed and despised at the same time.
