After a few weeks of some heavy personality readjustment, the real Magnolia was finally showing through again. She was becoming more submissive these days, now that she had finally got a knocking down from various family members. Magnolia’s bubbling personality had finally started to come back, though. She was terrified of the whole family now except for Eris and Larkspur. They seemed to be the only creatures in the land that had a heart with some space left in it for Maggie. Everyone else’s seemed to have withered away, and that was very depressing indeed.
The yearling had become accustomed to wandering the pack lands in search of solitude and to avoid confrontation. Tlantli and Janos both showed her that things weren’t kind and compassionate here. Magnolia had been warned to be careful all too often, and she was finally heeding that advice. The poor thing trotted around miserably, with no real location in mind. There was no place she had to be and no one that needed her. Still, she stayed positive. She was sick of being depressed, she wasn’t normally like that.
The wolf continued to walk despite jade eyes resting upon a russet figure near a tree. Her ears shot back, instantly regretting walking this way. The girl before her seemed as dainty and petite as Maggie, and she didn’t look particularly threatening. Sighing in relief, Maggie dared step a little bit further. The Associate, while nervous, decided to make the initiative this time. Maybe having an ally in the Family wouldn’t be so bad. This nervous woman seemed like the right place to start. “Hey,” was all she said, silver optime legs carrying her over to the russet coyote, and plopping down right next to her.
