+7. Set right next to Tallermein's Cottage.

The snow white damsel found herself by the lake's edge early that morning, scarcely able to sleep. Quietly, she wondered when the knight-to-be would come find her and arrange their picnic, but since the idea came about she had worried over small details about the day when it arrived. The large, enchanting lake seemed to be a refuge, and so decided to walk along the edge of the riverbank before light's first gaze over the mountains. Her lithe form was adorned with a light pink dress, with white accent, still awaiting its finishing touches by her own hands. It was unfinished work she wore, and the pale girl hoped to finish it before the planned outing.

A soft blowing wind caressed her and the companion that currently traveled in her satchel, tied around her waist, his head peeking sleepily out. Her eyes gazed into her reflection in the water as the air settled, stopping to think and occasionally look out into the horizon. The voyage was to find the perfect set of flowers for her hair, which currently only had a few swirly ribbons pinning up her dark auburn hair. Pieces that were left down, or ventured free from their tie, framed her small, dreamy face.

Giselle kept traipsing along, the small train of her unfinished dress lagging behind. The grass crinkled under her light step, following the lake's edge until she came upon a bleating noise. Eyes widening, the noise took 'Elle away from her thoughts, and curiously she followed the noise towards the woods, away from the large expanse of water. The noise grew louder, until the sounds became more violent sounding, and almost desperate. Giselle paused for a moment, and looked down at her stoat, as curious as she was about the commotion. In low speech, she squeaked down at him. "Oh my goodness. Tux, would you be so kind~?"

She didn't have to finish her question, for her companion knew what she meant. Her brave companion leaped from her bag and scouted out ahead, and when Giselle thought she heard screaming, she picked up her dress and picked up her pace. "Tux?" The young girl asked, pushing past brush to come upon an old fenced cottage, long since inhabited. Powder blue eyes drank in the scene, but what concerned her the most were a pair of goats being attacked by a bobcat. The chocolate stoat weaved his way past the fence and dashed into the scene, already attempting to save the hoofed creatures.

"Oh, be careful!" The dark haired girl warned, but in desperation she looked around for anything she could find to help chase off the predator. Giselle bent down to pick up a fairly large stick, and picked her way around a broken part of the red fence. "Shoo, get away from them!" She threatened the bobcat, swinging the stick threateningly. The Dreamer damsel had no wish to hurt the bobcat, but scare him away. A series of cat hisses, stoat shrills, and goat bleats filled the air, until Giselle had managed to chase off the bobcat, but at a price.

The mother goat had been protecting her young calf, paid the price of protection with her life. In all the movement and raucous, the bobcat received a few wounds, but had managed to escape into the forest and dragging the mother goat with it. Tux, his fur stained with blood of his own and both types of creatures, panted heavily, and Giselle tossed the stick aside and looked down at the baby goat. Her eyes were clouded with tears, upset that she could not save its mother, but the young woman felt her heart breaking when she saw that the young goat's back leg was wounded. "Oh dear, I'm so sorry.." She spoke soothingly to the baby goat, who could do nothing but lie there and call for its mother, still scared of the strangers that approached. "Help! Anyone, help us!" The girl cried into the air, unsure of what to do. "Y-you poor thing.." She choked through her tears, knowing she couldn't leave the young animal alone. Quickly, yet gently the Dreamer picked the creature up, and began to make her way towards the worn cottage.
