D'aww. Poor Titania.
She hunkered down in the grass as her mother ventured off, staring at the green blades while waiting for whatever commotion was about to start. Hunting wasn't something she'd ever considered doing, but it was something that adults did and she longed to prove she could be an adult like her mother was. Red-tipped tail waved in the air as her mind drifted, brought back only by the sounds of movement in the distance. She waited, patiently, as the hare was driven towards her.
The attack didn't go as smoothly as planned. When she sprang from the ground, aiming for the quick animal, she found herself toppling head over heels over head again as she managed to grab only one large, floppy ear. In its panic at being capture, one strong rabbity leg kicked out and made contact with the runt's small face. She yelped in pain, releasing her catch to hold her bleeding cheek, and looking all too disappointed when it dashed away. Her tail tucked low between her legs, ears falling flat as she looked for her mother. "I...lost it, momma." Oh, how sorry she was.
