He had quieted down before his pups did, who seemed to be having fun letting loose their squeaky howls for as long as they could. Skye would have never let them make such noise in the house, and Bangle chuckled lightly. "Alrigh, that's enough." He clicked his tongue, keeping a steady hand around both of them. It was Erzulie who had spotted the white wolf approaching, at an alarmingly fast rate. "Daddy, lookit! I sees 'em!" The white pup wriggled with excitement, and Robert's ears flew back timidly. Bangle's own wide ones were high at attention, until the face became familiar to his own orange-yellow eyes.
"Ralla! What a--" But the pleasantries were cut short, as the white woman spoke with urgency. It was the first they had laid eyes on either of their children, and though he wanted to be happy for her, and had several questions before she began walking away. He raised an eyebrow curiously, which stirred even more questions in his mind, but he figured it was best to listen to her. Lightly nudging Jack's side, he began at a trot next to the family, keeping an eye on the pups that were at the white female's feet.
"What's goin' on, Ralla?" He couldn't help but ask as they walked away from the fence and back into the forest. As much as the coywolf had a had time trying to piece things together, he also had a hard time keeping his pups under control on top of the horse. "But I wa'nna play wit 'em!" Erzulie would say, while Robert kept his body pressed to his father, observing. Now did not seem to be the time for that, his excitement from moments ago now turned into concern. "Shh, not now minions," He whispered to him, as if there were something, or someone, around that was overhearing them.
