Her fingers moved in smooth lines and curves and zags and zigs as she worked to create the handsome features of her sunshine King, leaving the darkened lines of the princess herself empty during the process. Ezekiel's face was what mattered, though it would feature the both of them when she was through. She really only cared about the bronze and gold features of her contrast-twin. Ezekiel. She shook her head, thunderbird eyes watching as cognac fingers smudged the wet paint to create the illusion of fur. It wasn't perfect, but her figures never were, unlike the landscapes that came to life beneath her hands. She had already given him the mountains. Now she would immortalize the pair for him to view even after she was gone.
The approach of someone new did not escape the notice of the princess, though only her eyes looked upward to survey the child who came near.
