Edit: Silvano will find Claudius, but others are welcome to try and apprehend him or notice him 8D

Claudius had been agitated and uncomfortable for the entire canoe ride to the Crimson Dreams territory. Maska had not taken him up his offer to scout the territory ahead, so had had been forced to go along with the plan as if he agreed with it. He could not believe he was doing this, but he knew that even in the midst of battle, he might be able to cause enough chaos to ensure that the Utinas were not captured. He did not want to think of what Maska and his goons would do to them if they were caught, and so, Claudius was determined to help him however he could.

When the debarked the canoes, Wematin paused only long enough to assess the situation before he set off running. Claudius had to jump aside to ensure that he was not caught up in the whirlwind of movement, but he too was quickly running.

He quickly moved into the territory and noticed a young black wolf with golden-yellow eyes speeding away deep into the packlands. Perfect. He glanced over at Wematin and then set off to follow the wolf. It gave him the perfect cover from Wematin to charge into the packlands and try to warn the others, just like he was, and perhaps even convince someone that he wasn’t their enemy. He could only hope he would be in time. If he could, he would have liked to see Crimson Dreams evacuate completely; this was not a war worth fighting.

He struggled to keep up with the wolf, for he clearly knew the lands better than he. He was not used to running at such a ferocious pace and in such a new form. He pushed himself to keep up, hoping that he would lead him somewhere useful so he could explain what was going on and what his role in all of this would be.

Unfortunately, after a few minutes of chasing the wolf, Claudius found himself alone in the pack territory without a soul around. Crap, he thought. He clearly had not planned this very well.
