I am open to Parker being captured if no one else wants to do it and Erin is okay with Parker being one of the captured CD wolves. Parker is doing a plot!thing, so she will be captured and then saved before she actually gets taken back to AniWaya. So capture away! Big Grin

Word Count: 407

Parker had been out and about because of a bout of insomnia. That and she enjoyed the peacefulness of nighttime. It meant that everyone else was asleep and the world was quiet. She enjoyed the quiet, which was why she was so often silent. There was rarely a reason to break that sacred emptiness with the cadence of words. Very often, she found that others broke the silence just to hear themselves talk. It seemed far rarer that they really had something of importance to say. When the Sadira girl spoke, it was with a weighted care that reflected her intelligence. Each word prepared and pronounced carefully, with a clear reason. She would never ramble. It seemed silly to her when others had so many words pouring out of their mouths, like a waterfall. Though usually far less pretty than that natural wonder.

So it was that when noises broke her silence, the blond girl froze. Each muscle went rigid, her ears snapping backward in alarm, then forward with even more alarm. The voice was familiar - one of her cousins, Tony - and the reason for his shouting was even more concerning. Something was there, something bad, something that wished her pack harm. With a silent frown, she began to run away from the river bank. With the message baying across the packland, accompanied by Jazper's own concerned noise, she could barely think. It was too much noise for what had begun as such a peaceful night. Her heart fluttered in her chest as she ran, but not from exertion; Parker Sadira was afraid for her pack, for her parents, for her family, and even for herself.

The girl jumped nimbly through the pack lands. This was her home, she knew it far better than any interloper who might come. Parker scented her cousin on the wind, but he had dashed into the darkness of the forest, still calling his message of warning. She was so focused on trying to move toward the Manor that she had neglected to pay as much attention to her surroundings as she should have. Parker Sadira was far closer to the interlopers than she knew, far closer than was safe. Already, the intruders could be close by where she ran. As she ran home, her bright coat flashed like a beacon in the night that was lighting someone's way to her... unfortunately, it could very easily be the wrong someone.
