The gathering had been promptly called, and Noss had followed without complaint or question. A calling was a calling, nothing more, nothing less. Those gathered paid close attention to the King, and Noss did likewise as he watched the proceedings. The news of the offender was definitely new--and the word 'tribe' certainly left all question of the pack of the victim. At least he knew it wasn't his sister--she wouldn't dare keep such a thing from him...would she? He thought not--she was too honest. But it was a severe pack matter to be sure, so further understood how it was not his place to have known previously, however much it prickled that he had been left in the dark to the possibilities of his kin being injured. Of course, the opportunity to forcibly remove the offender from their lands should he come back was appealing. To the matter of Keese, he had known him only as a member of the pack and a relative of sorts to Anaan, and not much else. He had not spoken to the man or inquired about him, but the way that the King announced his death was dismissive and final; no questions, no query, no need for detail. The grey warrior internally sighed at the fact that his lover had just elevated yet another step beyond his reach, but it was a fleeting, petty thought that subsided as he felt pride for the man. Strelein had always seemed loyal and dedicated, there was no reason he should not become one of such a status. And the ranks were changing, so soon after Noss had gotten used to them. At the very least, his preferred area of expertise was being placed in its own ranking, in a way, so he could concentrate on his skills and hopefully be of some use. Many ideas were clicking and turning in his head, but he filed them away for later as he looked to the red-headed man and smiled. It was his rough, not very gentle smile--that which looked more like a smirk than anything--but he hoped it showed that he was proud of the man and his accomplishment. Warrior walks. "Warrior talks."
