Suffocating Under Words

The scent was very faint, barely hanging on to the edges of the males memory. That night had been something he only remembered vaguely. There was laughing and fun, but that all only lasted a short while. He could remember feeling safe, he could remember the warmth of the other male as he pressed against him. All in all, the might have been good memories if it wasn't for the fact that he was a stranger, Jasper didn't even remember his name. Had he known it at all? Even to that very day, when Jasper would lay awake at night, he would imagine feeling that safe warmth that he felt that night, it was comforting in a way. What drove him to the lands of the Pack was that faint scent though, one that he had picked up in his travels. Jasper only wanted to see him, just a glance of him, because he would never be brave enough to actually try and find him to speak with him.

The young male was nervous, pacing back and forth at the edge of the borders. His hands were wound tightly together at his stomach, fingers clawing and rubbing at each other. He would just get a good look at him, something to put a complete image together in his mind, instead of the choppy and distorted one, and then he would leave. Hopefully, the other male wouldn't take notice of him. Waiting was killing him though, his fur was almost on end and his tail twitched behind him. He was beginning to regret even considering what he was doing.
