The young male stood back to admire his handiwork. It was neither grand nor splendid and it looked pretty plain with just the raw nuts, berries and fruits that they'd gathered spread around the table. But it was a meal coming together and soon he and Eclipse would bring the deer in and set it in the middle of the table. They'd spent a good few minutes argueing whether to cook it or keep it raw. In the end, they'd split it in half and decided to cook one half of the deer and leave the other half raw. That should satisfy everyone who attended. And for a moment Saul was just happy to know that he would definitely be eating with Eclipse. Even if nobody else turned up, the two of them would not dine alone tonight. He chuckled and straightened up as Eclipse entered with a dish of meat and vegetables that smelt just a little spicy. He hadnt disturbed her whilst she was cooking, the same way she'd left him to titervate in the dining room.

"Looks good Eclipse. And we'll eat when everyone gets here, greedy guts!"

He teased before movement and noise from the lobby caught his attention. It could have been Gideon or Nayru or Melee or Range, but his ears told him it wasnt anyone who lived in the house. It was strange living around your family- when you could tell who was coming in and out of the house just by their footfalls. Of course, the young male didnt spent all of his time listening for his families steps- it was just something he'd picked up on since Siku had left. He could identify who was entering the house almost straight away now. And he would guess that the person entering at the moment was probably Tawny. Her voice wavered out in the air and Saul laughed softly. He'd been right. Moving out of the double doors and down the lobby towards her, he made to give her a big hug.

"You didnt need to do that Tawny... I'm just glad you came to eat with us!"

He exclaimed, knowing exactly how hard it would be for her to sit in a room with his family. But it would be good for her to meet them, to get to know them. Saul knew them all to be wonderful people and he hoped Tawny would come to the same conclusion. A large object caught his eye but he thought better than to ask her outright what it was. Instead he gestured for her to follow her into the dining room where he introduced her to Eclipse with a smile. So it wouldnt be just the two of them on their own after all. He was pleased.
