Valkyrie couldn't help but want to squish her siblings because of how cute they were, even though everyday they wore her out, mentally and physically. The had once thought that she had boundless energy but when it came to those puppies, they were like super puppies or something! Maybe it was just the sheer quantity of the puppies that made her tire out so quickly, because not only did she have to keep up with one of them, but she had to keep up with three of them! Three on one little Valkyrie was a little much and she often times didn't see her old grumpy father (whom was supposed to be the one caring for them) helping out any. The only thing he was doing was being a grump and scouting the borders, scouting the borders, scouting the borders. Nothing else seemed to be more important in the life of Hybrid, and to think that not even his offspring was important to him was not surprising to Valkyrie, but maybe to an outsider looking in. Valkyrie needed to talk to him one of these days, ask him why he'd bother making these puppies if he did not want them. There had to be some reason. She knew that these were not an accident like she was, there was no way that her father could think that the mother of these children was a male. there's just no way...
She'd been thinking about going to Hybrid when little Wraith decided to bring her lanky body up to the orche and coal tinted woman. A smile showed up on her face and she looked down at Wraith, whom licked her chin. Valk giggled and wrapped her arms around the girl in an embrace. They were getting too big for Valk to carry, so she did not try to pick her sisters, or brother up anymore, for that was asking for her spine to be hurt. I wanted ta' make sure ya'll were okay, hadn't seen ya' ina'while. the woman spoke to her sister, explaining why she had called her even though the child did not ask that. As far as what she was doing, it was nothing. She hadn't done too much today besides try to read some of the books she had taken from the library in the mansion. Jus' readin some books. Also thinkin' bout daddy, and uhm, thinkin'bout takin' ya' an' Luci an' Nathan ta' see yer momma up in Anathema one of these days, how does dat sound? she asked the child, wondering why their mother had left them here in the first place. Didn't their mother love them? Why would she just dump them on her father like he'd actually care for them? Didn't the woman know better? Hybrid barely cared about the one daughter he had, why would he start caring about these children?
Arr ya'll hungry? It'sa 'bout lunchtime now, ain't it? she asked the child, not knowing if the girl had eaten yet or not, Valkyrie knew that she was hungry herself so she probably would try to find something to hunt so that they could eat, or maybe she could go and see if Hybrid had any food that he could spare or if he knew of some good hunting spots that could help in her search.
