It's the Circle of Life
it moves us all till we find our place
on the path unwinding

Ayita found herself curled into her bed. She had not wanted to worry Zafier or Vigilante. Though the two didn't really get along for the last few days since she and her mate moved here this had been ok. Zafier had pretty much slept the entire time and been on his best behavior. Maybe it was the fact that her children threatened him. She had to admit she enjoyed him being around.

this morning how ever she found herself in the same state she had been twice. The pain was intense and she felt her aging body coping with it differently. She laid in bed just trying to deal with the slow moving contractions that were causing her back to ache. She closed her eyes and rolled over she couldn't remember where Vigilante had said he was going. She told him to enjoy. She hadn't felt anything and figured she still had a day or so. But here she was the begining of Labor something that would last for ever. She almost rather lay here alone for those hours hoping that she would not have to send Zafier to get him.

Zafier sat at the entry way of her room back rested against the wall as he tried to sleep. He was angry at her kids for being mad at him. He had rights to think the way he did but they were also right. Ayita was happy the mutt king made her smile. he couldn't remember her ever looking so full of life back home. the warrior sighed as he sat there guarding the queen. She was important to him and to vigilante and he may not be a very amazing member but he could do this.

Zafier, Zafier please go get Vigilante ayita said she didn't want to be alone just her and her brother she couldn't take the silence that loomed in the air. She was beginning to feel hot and she wished that she was not the one who was in this situation today. She just didn't want to deal with the stress on her. "Hurry" There was no real rush but she snapped at him to move like he was a common dog. She was his sister and maybe it was the anger at him for treating Vigilante so bad.

Zafier jolted up and into the room looking at her. He knelt down to look at her. "Yes Ma'am" He said as he took off running. Wait where the hell did the king go? He would most likely still be close. he got out on to the porch and looked around. Ok the hotel was that way and the king would be some where between here and there. Running off the porch of the new home he broke into a run. Stopping himself he skidded past the dog king. Who truly had not gone far just out back. Your majesty He said bowing. this had been the first time that he had truly shown the man respect. The respect he deserved for he had allowed Zafier to live here. Ayita requests you Vigilante, I think her time is nearing. He said. though he knew nothing. He was clueless. After all this was the first time he'd been with them through this.
