Salsola's Last Supper (September 2011) Hey there, Salsola! It's time for another Last Supper thread! Unlike the last time, however, this time we'd like to perform the ceremony OOCly -- that is, pretend we had a thread about it and simply organize a summary of what went down. It's tedious doing too many mandatory threads, and we don't want to stress you guys out! However, the Supper is a pretty important part of Salsola's culture, and we'd like to keep up with it! Note of course that players who do NOT submit PMs expressly directing us to mention their character will be omitted from the summary aside from assumed presence -- we will not be engaging in any powerplay here! Supper Changes We have also made some minor changes to the policy regarding the Last Supper. It will now be held approximately every two months -- we were bad leaders and didn't remember to promote the supper and its events, and it's ICly unrealistic for Salsola to consume massive amounts of resources on a regular basis. Therefore, a more infrequent schedule has been adopted: expect a Supper every two months, with perhaps some gatherings on a far smaller scale interspersed between. What Should I Do? Now is a good time to: Write threads preparing for the Last Supper. Certain Co-Ranks can advance via pre-Supper activity, and we're always appreciative of hunting or special food preparation being shown in threads. These things also count for points in the Salsola game -- you're certainly enacting a part of Salsola's culture! The Tenzotli Iztac, one of our new Anicombs, features Supper threads and preparation toward the ceremony! Decide what your character is likely to be doing during the feast. Remember, you can certainly opt out of this and we are not requiring participation. Attendance isn't even ICly mandatory, though it's good form for your character to show their face, of course. If your character has any news to announce, they'll certainly be permitted to do so. Let us know what you're planning, if you'd like to announce news or have your character portrayed a certain way in the feast summary -- for example, Eris is likely to get a bit toasted, as she is no longer pregnant. For the moment, send your PMs to Sie as Alaine is a sleepless zombie due to assessments! :c Dates September 24: Any news, announcements, or particulars about the summary should be sent by this date. Try to phrase your summary of character behavior as best you can: we will attempt to quote you as much as possible. September 29: We will PM those who wish for us to mention their character(s)'s behavior. Players are expected to respond to the summary and give final approval of the character interaction: this is to avoid any unwarranted powerplay. Not that the summary will be extremely detailed; we're simply erring on the side of caution! October 6: The summary will be posted, with the Supper dated for September 30.
