Parker had gone out in the morning to get food. She had selected fishing because they would be less easy to find soon. As the temperature dropped, they would leave or eventually get covered in frost. So it was that she had caught one and eaten it right away, savoring each bite. After her meal was complete, she had caught a second fish. Her aim was to go visit Liliana and offer it to the mother. Because she had growing cubs, it seemed like a good gesture. They would probably have fun wrestling with the fish, since it was rather big in comparison to their size. It was a decent size for a meal for a mother or a couple of cubs, anyway. Perhaps not for the entire family, but she figured Nayati had been bringing home food as well. She sincerely doubted they were starving or anything like that. Parker just thought it was a nice gesture.
It was as she was walking toward the front door that she saw him. A male she did not recognize with one ear. He only possessed the right ear... her head tilted slightly, intrigued by this asymmetry. Her fingers itched to pull out her drawing pad and start to draw him. It was in the way that he held himself, too, and the way his head was tilted. Her stomach lurched with an unfamiliar feeling - attraction, perhaps? - that tugged at her gut and made her feel shy. Though she was generally a rather shy girl anyway, this made her turn her head downward and look away. Hoping he hadn't caught her staring at him. It was foolish to just stand there awkwardly in the open, though, so she walked toward the male. When she was closer, she silently extended the fish and tilted her head. Offering him the fish as a meal, if he was hungry. Thoughts of feeding the Utinas had faded into the background.
