Basti knew of Eris's pups and had even been to visit them a few times. And well, now he had even more cause to visit with Eris since he had acquired one of his own. She provided nutrients for him that Basti would be unable to get otherwise. So really it was luck that he had made such a good impression upon her previously for her to do him this favor. Without her little Enigma would easily starve to death. So Bastion had to visit more frequently in order to get bottles refilled for his son to feed from. In some strange way of thinking Enigma and Eris's pups were like milk siblings.

"Taxi." The shortened form of the name was spoken with a sort of affection and a nod of his head. The nickname simply fell in line with his clipped way of speaking. Basti settled himself on the ground with Enigma on his lap and a bottle placed into the pup's mouth. "What doing?" He questioned the young girl as he watched her. He had never seen the appeal in bones himself. He was more the type to lap up the blood and suckle upon the raw flesh and organs. Blood was his addiction and if he could live on that alone he wouldn't need to fill his belly with the flesh.

While Basti might not be prone to producing spawn of his own he believed that he had already done enough to have his name remembered. After all he had showed why he deserved his rank through short bursts. For those that had seen just how easily he could mutilate another without blinking and then watching him with Enigma it almost seemed like two entirely different beings. But that just showed that the boy was more complex than most gave him credit for. The male just played upon the assumptions of others was all.
