Ataxia grumbled and growled at the bone, worrying away at it with as much ferocity as she could muster. So far it hadn't really done anything for her, though. It was a useless little thing that she would someday defeat. It was right as she was starting to get bored with her bone that Bastion arrived. So it was that she readily dropped the plaything in order to turn her attention to the far more interesting Arbiter. "Basssst!" the girl said delightedly. She rose to walk toward him, poking her nose against the line of his arm in an affectionate gesture. She had seen him several times before and she knew him well enough to trust him. Today the puppy was in his arms. It was smaller than her, younger and more fragile. When it got older, Ataxia was determined that they would be friends.

At Bastion's question, she looked over at the bone and lifted her upper lip. She growled at the bone as if it had offended her, then turned back to the dark male. One hindpaw kicked dirt in the direction of the bone to further display her distaste for it. Though she had been so fiercely chewing it mere moments before, it had lost her favor. "Chewin it! Bad bone." she replied, glaring again over at the offending bone. It was bad because it wouldn't let her chew it into littler bits. That was probably something she should have put in her explanation of what she was doing, but Ataxia assumed he knew. She leaned in to sniff at the milk-scented puppy in Bastion's arms. "Enigma plaayyy?" she asked, looking up hopefully with baby blue eyes. Was he big enough to romp and goof off yet? A boy pup to play with would be fun! Her sisters got boring after a while.
