Salvia was not aware of any of the traits she shared with her sisters. By large, this was due to her desire to have nothing to do with them. In her mind, as was the way of predatory things, the new children were a threat to her established pattern. Even Pandemic, who far outweighed her and stood more than a head taller, took heed to follow his sister. She was a woman with a strong personality, not unlike her mother. Yet it was Sirius who had taught her; subconsciously, she had picked up his patterns and used them on others. Slaves, mostly, but her cousin as well.

Keen ears caught the sound of the pup above her own heavy (though hardly worn) breathing. Irritated to be spied upon, she frowned and narrowed her eyes. They were brilliantly colored, like her mother, but darker and far more feral. Intellegence made her a beast of knowledge. She was far to wise to be classified as a savage.

"Come out," she ordered, husky voice sharp.
