Ataxia inhaled as if she could breathe in the fumes of Salvia's hidden fury. Instinctively, she was not trusting of this adult. It felt like prickles of lightning down her spine, warning her to leave this place and move away from this predator. Where she had not felt threatened by the predatory nature of Sirius, she felt uneasy around this lightly colored female. Though fearless because of her position and her naivety, she was not stupid. There was danger here, she was playing with fire. Still, it might not even be safer to run; then she would just look more like prey than she already did. Instinct might drive such a wolf to attack if they shifted from viewing her as a canine cub to thinking of her as a prey creature running in fear. At such a young age and so small for her age as it was, it would make her an easy target indeed.

The question mimicked one that Sirius had asked and she tipped her head to the side, assessing. Salvia radiated dominance but it was a clumsier, more forceful display than the natural motions of the Thistle King. To show that she meant no harm, she tucked her tail and lowered her body in the automatic gestures of a subservient wolf. Though she was a bold, brash, feisty thing when it came to her littermates, she was also a survivalist. There was nothing to be gained from trying to show her own forceful nature to this vicious female. It would probably cause harm to befall her. For once, the young Lykoi descendent realized that not all wolves in the pack might wish her well. "Ataxia D'Angelo." she said her whole name, because it was what she had been taught. They were interlaced together as almost one word to her. Once again, she waited for something further to happen instead of taking the initiative. After all, she was not the one in charge here. That much was clear. Her blue eyes rested on the older female's toes deferentially; waiting.
