Ataxia was aware of the safety that Salsola provided. The umbrella of protection extended fully over her... it didn't mean she lost her caution about this strange wolf. She wanted to leave. There was a desire to go home, to snuggle up next to her sisters if they were home and forget about this whole experience. That childish part was overridden by something else, though. A curiosity that kept her locked where she was. As it was said, curiosity killed the cat. It could just as easily be that curiosity killed the cub in her case. Although she had made some wise decisions and even now had not put herself directly in harm's way. Though there was no doubt that Salvia could kill her easily - or something else could - the Salsolan princess was not fearful. She had not learned yet to fear.

Because she was not looking up - and would certainly never attempt to look at Salvia's eyes - she caught neither the smile nor its falsehood. Instead, she merely heard the words. A softer voice, though it didn't warm or thrill her like Sirius's did. His was syrupy sweet and generous with its pleasure, this one was soft but she still felt the thin razor's edge hidden behind it. It was so vastly different and Ataxia didn't like it. One triangular dark ear flicked quietly, as if agitated by these words. They felt strange somehow, but she couldn't place how. The concept of a threat was one unknown to her. "Home safe." she replied, looking in the direction of her mother's den. That was where she should be as it was. "Go now?" she asked, hoping that Salvia would give her permission to leave. She had inquired to avoid the possibility of inciting the larger female's anger by not asking.
