get it on the floor, bring out the fire

There was certainly something to be said for the bravery of a child, though Salvia imagined that children (as she had been a child) were often ignorant of things. She had learned quickly, from Harlowe’s madness, that the world was a dangerous place. Yet she also learned, and was reinforced in this belief, that safety lay with her family. Recently, though, a new factor had been added to her life’s equation. Betrayal. Wraith had betrayed her, and she had nearly killed the girl for this. If any of these children were to stand against them, she would do what needed done.

“I will take you,” the older woman offered, tilting her head and rolling one shoulder with a pop. “Mother has been quite busy, but I’d like to see if she’s around.” Without waiting for a response, the tall woman began her trek towards her mother’s home. Whether or not Ataxia had recognized their shared scent was indifferent to Salvia. She did wish to see her mother, but like always, she doubted the woman would be around.
