get it on the floor, bring out the fire

Ataxia would learn more as she grew. Things that had not transpired yet would shape her worldview. For now, it was mostly blank. She knew that the pack meant safety, that her parents and Magnolia meant care, and Sirius meant power. So far her impression of Salvia was one of raw, vicious energy. It wasn't something that she liked because it could as likely burn her as warm her. Perhaps it was leaning more toward the burning side, as the adult female had not shown the slightest inclination toward warmth. Except that bittersweet voice. Even the voice had bitten as much as it had soothed, though. There was something confusing about Salvia and Ataxia didn't understand what it was. All she knew was that she didn't trust this wolf at all; something about her was dangerous. It was why she wanted to get home to the warmth and comfort of the den.

Words came again, these ones seemed indifferent and not laced with as much poison. The girl twitched her ears at one word in particular, though. Mother? That word used in association with Eris was exclusive to her children, naturally. So this was... "Ssssalvia?" she drawled, hopping after her sister so that she wouldn't be left behind. Someone had mentioned her older sister to her before. It had likely been Pan or Eris when they were talking about who she was related to. In any case, she was surprised to find that the stranger had turned out to be someone she should know. Since Salvia never came by the homestead - that she knew of - there was no reason she would have recognized her sibling. It felt even weirder to have a family member that gave her bad feelings, though. Weren't they the ones who were supposed to protect her the most?
