It was the sounds that came for the pigeon cages that had lead Anann to believe that Niro might be messing with his birds, though it was not confirmed until his fresh scent hit her nose and a moment later she spotted the light gray male with his trademark mohawk. A soft smile stretched thinly over her lips as he greeted her. "Thank you, Niro. It is good to see you. How have you been?" Her bonds with her pack mates had grown weak in the time that Keese had been amongst them. Complete isolation had been impossible, but she had refused to show Keese that any of the members of the court were anything more than acquaintances and therefore not viable leverage. In the end it had left her vulnerable and perhaps had she kept her friends gathered tightly around her he might never have touched her, but others would have felt his wrath. He would have sought to use her friends and their families against to her, to bend her to his will. Keese had known all to well that Anann was often a selfless creature when it came to her well-being over that of another and all he would had to of done was pull the right strings.
Anann looked at the small bird Niro had been working with. The wolf seemed a little frustrated with the feathered creature. "What is it you use these birds for?" She asked quizzically and genuinely interested as she looked at the birds in one of the cages. She felt slightly ashamed that she did not already know, after all the cages had been here for months now and she had always intended to take some lessons form the man on how he handled the birds of prey he had kept. Even if it were only the basics for she knew that huntsman used Marahute and Tobias for tracking prey. A brilliant idea in her own mind and she had always respected Niro for his drive in capturing and training the birds. She would not have even known where to begin. She might have had a knack with horses, but she did not really didn’t know enough about birds to understand them.
