As the sun continued its gradual ascent, its subtle light began to illuminate the clearing, shedding its warm glow upon the unfamiliar creature a it began its approach. Wary with cause, the female stood her ground, tail straight and ears forward whilst the rigid along her spine bristled. She did not bare fang to the approaching female despite its disturbing scent. Hostility was never her first response, but it was innate to be cautious.
Light continued to crawl, lengthening the spire's shadows til the higher peak of light retracted them suddenly, enveloping the creature in revealing light. It was a she... a very petite she with a body she had rarely seen. She possessed the strong, resilient body of a wolf but the slender ascent and rugged aesthetic of the coyote. A hybrid. X'yrin raised her brows to this realization and visibly released her tension. Curious nose quivered excitedly now able to out a face to the unique scent. The Nomad had heard of wolves and others like them mating out of affection... but she couldn't wrap her head around the idea. Obviously the practice was well preserved evident by the female before her.
An exciting discover to say the least. And her journey was certainly about making new discoveries to share with her familiars when she met with them again.
