[/html]Hybrid put himself in the way right in the nick of time: while Hybrid moved to put himself between the puppies and the traitor, he saw her lash out and then try to redirect her attack to the puppies. As she lunged for the puppies, Hybrid twisted and turned to try and catch her as she flung herself at the youth. She felt him make impact with his body, and in the confusion, he felt pain spread across his head and neck, but couldn't tell if he'd grabbed her well enough to prevent her from getting to the puppies.[/html]
His fur bristling and his jaws agape, Hybrid lunged to meet her. He bellowed out a loud snarl, screaming with all the bloodlust and rage he could muster. He fed off these volatile emotions and the thought that she would dare attack Inferni's youth -- his children -- enraged him. He pushed himself with his hing legs and reached out, aiming to take her down by the neck and hold her back and head with his dextrous forepaws. [html]
