Caprica had started the day on a brilliant note: a brace of birds had stumbled into one of her carefully constructed snares; pheasants no less. Delightedly the young connoisseur had retrieved, plucked and cleaned them all in a morning's work, before returning to her daily grind of amusing herself in as various a variety of ways as she could devise - especially enjoying playing with and crafting toys for the new puppies. When some sixth sense told her the sun was retreating, although she had seen little of it, she headed for the kitchen, humming melodically. On her way she smelled smoke - the fire in the commons must have been stoked, just in time for her to roast the birds. Ideal. She detoured to see how large the flames were - it might have been worth lighting the kitchen one after all - and grinned, seeing the well-prepared young man and the hearty blaze already growing. "What's up, bro?" she said by way of greeting - she recognised him as one of Ravesque's, but she hadn't had the good luck to speak to him before. "That's a nice looking fire - you mind if I borrow a little heat to roast some dinner?"
