WC:443 OOC:Anyone can post after Grace does, It will most assuredly be a short one Smile

Life was a mess for the mother. With the whole AniWayan conflict, she was scared for her children and mate, and also scared for herself. She felt far too confined as well. She wasn’t doing anything, when at this time of year she was helping the other AniWayan’s with the autumn harvest. She wondered if anyone was doing that now. Wasy anyone making sure the horses were taken care of? Or the pregnant ones were eating right and getting their exercise? She looked outside where the autumn rain drizzled over the cracked glass of the windmill. Her children were sound asleep and ever since coming back from AniWaya, her mate had fallen deathly quiet. it hurt her because they use to be able to talk to one another, now he would barely say a word to her. She did understand that what happened was traumatizing for both his sister as well as him, but she just wished she could be of some help.

Giving a frustrated grunt she gathered up a cloak she had borrowed and left the windmeill. She trusted Nayati with the children, even in the odd state he was in. He would never harm a fur on their bodies. Liliana went to the horses makeshift shelter, though it barely kept the rain out, it was the closest they could be without actually being inside. Grabbing Graces’ halter she tugged on the horse’s reigns. Grace put up a small fight, not wanting to really go out in the rain, but in the end went with Liliana quietly. Liliana knew the only thing that could make her feel at least remotely better was a good run even if it meant riding in the rain.

Grabbing some of Grace’s mane she hopped up and started the horse at a trot until they were at an open field where she kicked the horse into a full gallop. It was a dangerous move especially since they barely knew the area and the grass was wet and mud was everywhere. All she wanted to do was ride and it felt so good. That moment passed in an instant as fear suraced when she felt herself falling back. Not only was it her, but Grace too was falling and there was nothing Liliana could do. Panic set in as she tried pushing away from the horse. Liliana had only moments to think before her head hit the ground where a hidden rock lay beneath the long wet grass. There was a sickening crack and Liliana knew no more. To make matters worse Grace’s body slammed on top of Liliana’s when she slippd in the slick grass and mud.
