The few days have passed in blur ever since Adele stepped into Crimson Dreams as one of their own. Though they were fleeting as the wind, the memories they left behind still haunted the whimsical girl; War was upon them, and she added herself into the equation without fully knowing what she was getting into. Naïve as she was when she joined, she was not going to quietly back out, for she was not afraid of what she faced. Crimson Dreams needed all the help they could get, even if the quirky hybrid could only aid little in the ways of combat.
Yesterday, she had learned, under Rain’s guidance, a few motions for hand-to-hand fighting. She was glad not to take arms for the impending battles. Though dismayed at AniWaya, it was their leader she was upset at, not the innocent that was caught up in the eye of the storm, and wished naught to harm them seriously. This included the Guardians as well, who only wish to follow their beliefs and please their deities, and the girl fully respected that. Adele was still slightly overwhelmed at all of this, so she took some time to relax herself.
Earlier that day, she picked flowers from the small valley some ways behind the Manor. She returned to the mansion, sat in its front lawn, and began to tie the flowers together, each one representing someone she knew. Every time she knotted one together, she silently thought of their names, and hoped for good will and health for the upcoming days that seemed daunting. Cinnamon, she began, starting with the rat that laid upon her side, napping, Savina, Mars, Rain. Each flower, carefully handled as if the soul of the said person was cradled in the blossom, was soon added to one another, and Adele continued to knot more, for the Dreamers who she did not know nor met yet, linked together by her wish that they would all be safe.
