Of course he had to be laughing when he was in danger, and she was flailing around to get to land, but she just couldnt' seem to get there, that was until she felt a pair of calm hands on her waist and she stopped, though not entirely, it was until he spoke did she see why he laughed at her and that she was in fact quite safe. Her heart still hammered along her chest, and she was scared still, but now knowing she was safe... it meant a lot, she turned to him, here eyes still showed the shock of the moment and her mouth in a slight scowl.
“That wasn't funny! I could have drowned.”
She said, she had noticed his one eye before, though it was shocking to her to see it out in the open she didn't move away with repulsion, to her it was a part of who he was and she was still far too angry and embarrassed to really react to seeing his hair moved from the eye. She was catching her breath now and looked back into the pool where the large fish swam around them, keeping their distance
“So... why are they here anyway?”
She was trying to distract her self, to tell herself he teased her because she was being childish and stupid, flailing around when she could touch the bottom. She looked down finding the question the right one, especially when there were so many in such a small space.
