LOL A race?! You WANT to give Liam a heart attack, right? He fought for CdM a few days ago, give him a break! Kidding; short or not, it was an awesome post. =p ↔ 392 words

Halifax was indeed a big place – intimidating too with all of its large, towering structures. It felt as though they were looking down upon Liam and his new friend, watchful gazes daring them to do anything to harm the city already in ruins.

Liam knew it was a bit silly, but a part of him was expecting the buildings to collapse onto him if he touched something that didn't belong to him – good thing he wasn't the first in his pack to come here and take things that weren't necessarily his. Thieving felt wrong, but the more he thought about it the more he realized it wasn't stealing. He was taking useful items that no one else had found – items left behind by humans that had long since vanished from the lands. If no one was using them, they were sitting there waiting for someone to. Liam nodded to himself; yes, it was only right for him to take things and claim them as his own. But it was only a small part of him that debated such things. The larger part of him, the adventurous part, didn't care.

He didn't have much time to reflect on the matter though as Jackson put a new challenge into his head – one that involved focus and the use of his strong Optime legs. Liam smirked. Racing – he was good at that. “Aha!” he said with a smirk as he started running. At first he was a little behind Jackson, what with the black and white wolf-dog having had a bit of a head start, but after a while he caught up to Jackson.

He picked up his pace even more, his powerful legs working hard to take his body from point A to point B in the least amount of time. The cool autumn breeze blew through his dark brown mane, making the fur on his body stand on edge. His muscles ached a little, which slowed him down a tad but not enough for the competition to be non-existent. Liam smirked some as he saw a few dark birds munching on something in the distance – almost there!

He ran for a few seconds still and finally, when he reached their destination, the competitive brown wolf glanced around him to see if he had won or not.
