Sunset eyes had found a victim, though if it was of the right kind.. well, it was not up to him. Grumpily, the blonde male titled his head and let fingers rub against the base of his narrow, coyote-like muzzle. Itachi was accustomed with demons in his life, but they had always occupied his life. He could handle them, and even cherished them in his own way.. but this new demon of his, he did not adore. This wasn’t the flawed Lykoi prince’s fight, though he found himself dragged into something larger. He wanted to return to ignorance, but the door was already open.
But today, this could change. Itachi didn’t believe in the birth of dragons. Anyone should do.. he had thought, and the whispering voice had agreed. In fact, he supposed it had been the voice’s idea in the first place. Monsters desired strength and power, and physically, the resting brute before him seemed to possess all of that. Pearly white teeth glared at the man with the closed eyes, though there was no sound as the Lykoi of Salsola approached the drowsing creature. Slowly, Itachi crouched down before the resting canine, and watched as honey painted eyes opened to meet his cold gaze. Itachi opened his mouth and spoke. ”You have been chosen.”
He hadn’t anticipated the scream of agony as he watched the man's soul die within honey hues in front of him. So this was what true death looked like.
