I only have this thread, and need to post for activity, so here is a little post. Someone, please move this thread along? 
Maska paced inside the Town Hall, conflicted and strongly affected by the urgency of his situation. He was beginning to feel nervous as time passed. Had someone seen him slip into the building? Could Shikoba keep them at bay? The noises outside was a constant. He kept thinking he should have brought someone in here with him. Sikyatavo hopped from the chair to the floor and back up, curious and wanting to see out of the window. He occasionally whispered requests for Maska to see what was going on, but the gray wolf would not risk revealing his position by doing something as stupid as appearing in the window. Still, he knew that this was not enough. There were those in the tribe who did not fully support him - their spirit guides could easily spot him through the high air-slits in the walls and roof. He did not fear the Itawamba eagle, though. The Amara was too dedicated to the tribe to reveal him, but there were many other members whose guides he had never seen - were they birds? It made him nervous. An idea came to him, and he quickly reached for the numerous blankets which were stored in the wall shelves, and hung them to cover the windows in quick and resolute movements. Unless someone had been actively studying the building, they could not have seen it - or so he hoped. Finally the male positioned himself under the window, against the wall where he could hear most of the noises - where he estimated that most of them could decide to check the windows. Sitting crouched beneath it, he was not sure how long he could keep his composure. He had never seen war like this.
