The time was nigh. Battle had fallen on the sleepy tribal lands and the Spaniard was ready. He had dressed himself for the occasion. Red and black war paint was decorated around his body. Red underlined his natural eye stripes and a large scarlet raven was painted onto his chest. Usually a master's brand but this was war and he was a warrior, he wished to bear the mark for this epic. To show his worth. 'Quera was painted too, the same shades as his master used rippled down his coat. Blood red dripped from under his eyes, creating a terrifying glow. Luz was marked, but not to the extent of the cremello. She lay in the shadows, training to kill using her weight and size, as her cremello counterpart was.

The Spaniard's knives were at his thighs, the staffs at his back. A bladed tomahawk rested in his hand as the stallion galloped forward. Rythmic beats sounded off as loudly as war drums. He was near the outskirts of the village, at a slowed pace when a voice called out. 'Hey!' It was a guardian, armed and ready for his attack. He frowned, sad that he had to use violence. But he let his had fall down, the tomahawk readied itself and slamed into the guardian's head, killing her instantly. He continued on his way. This was a war they would have to win. Not just for the dreamers and courtisans, but for the tribemates too.
