WC:455+ - OOC blah would go here

He shifted his weight, sinking further into the poorly fixed up sofa, his body stretched out along it's length and his paws dangling of the edge. Over his face an open book was placed, each page of the book contained ideas, plans and notes to self, anything the male felt the need to write down so that he did not forget. Sometimes, writing matters down helped him think things through more clearly, organise his thoughts and notice things in his not so great plans that he may have never noticed before. After having doodled down some plan ideas for the new conversion and restoration project of the sawmill, he'd fallen asleep; pens and such scattered nearby on the floor and the book thus ending up coving his sleeping face. Curled up upon his stomach was Miwa, the girl a near spitting image of him and very much already mimicking her father's habits; such as making a mess and conveniently falling asleep before tidying up, the child's random toys and objects she had collected were spread out amongst her fathers equipment on the floor too.

Wings beating nearby awoke him, his ear twitching with annoyance at one of the birds waking him up; as much as training a bunch of crows to be sentinels sounded like a good idea, living with the pests was far from the males idea of fun. Beyaz on his own was a pain in the arse; now he had somehow ended up with six crows, some of the younger ones already showing signs of their father's usual disobedience. Groaning he blinked a few times, “Hanarete iku, watashi wa nemuru koto o... Wazuka... five more minutes” he grumbled, the words slurring towards then and making little sense, changing from Japanese to English. Following the sound of wings, footsteps and someone entering his home had his eyes open, the book falling to the floor from his face and clattering down, landing open amongst everything else. Easing himself up into a seated position, he plucked the sleeping child up by her scruff and dumped her to the side of him on the sofa, the child remaining deeply asleep throughout all of this. Before he could ask what the hell was going on, the black and white coated female explained the situation and he looked at the white criminal; surprisingly, it wasn't Beyaz, but one of the pests offspring. Staring at the bird, he move his arm forward, palm open, “Drop it” he said to the bird, the crow instantly coming over and obeying the order.

With the herb in his outstretched hand, he looked up to the female. “Your herb. Sorry 'bout that, the younger ones like to annoy others when they get bored”.
