She wanted to see her beautiful white daughter. Deuce walked slowly; she was actually in her non-shifted form tonight. She followed the river, thinking that Dierdre's den would be somewhere along the water, not that she was 100 percent certain. A howl made her look up. it had come from directly ahead. She stiffened, startled. She didn't see the sleek form that melded into the brush.
After a moment, she relaxed and drank from the river, taking a moment's breather. She knew she was in storm, that was distinctly pheonix smell there. She was excitied about seeing her daughter again, now that the two were getting along. She loved her eldest child, she honeslty was glad that her own issues hadn't affected the cinnamon girl any. A noise made her look up, startled. For a moment, she was sure she saw eyes, but dismissed it as her imagination.
