He understood that there was a prize lost to them. With such a massive bulk, he was useless in the dense forest. Given his last injury, the Aquila had no desire to see him harmed again.

So he slid off the red horses’ back and dropped only for an instant to catch the scent of blood. To track her would be easy, given the wound. One hand reached up and drew another arrow. Bow at the ready, he began to move into the forest at a surprisingly fast rate. Having spent two years within the wilderness, this playing ground was one he knew far too well. While his anger at her for destroying the skulls lingered, he was quite enjoying himself. How often did they get to hunt prey like this, after all?
