Honey if you want Saul to come and help with the birth you can do :3 if not then its fine. Kris, I figured Nayru could come by when everything is finished to see the new Ichikans? The birth will be very quick, taking no more than an hour or two at most.

Her time was close now, less than a day if her body was working on time, not even hours to wait until her and Temo's offspring would enter the world, she could feel the quiver on her stomach that urged her to find somewhere comfortable to lay and rest until her time came but the wolfdog was stubborn and insisted on being on her feet, out and about, she could never stand to stay bedridden for so many weeks. Although it was almost midday the world was darkened by the angry looking clouds that swirled about overhead and to the south. Jace struggled to the door and opened to better hear the rumbles of thunder as they echoed in the distance, closing her eyes and letting the sound wash over her.

Against her better judgement and slightly breaching the promise she had made to Temo she stepped out of the safe confines of her home and into the outside world which offered many dangers to one in her condition. She did not go far, just around the back to see the horses. They grey mare had given birth extremely late and out of season to a charcoal black filly with a white blaze on her muzzle. The little foal was just under a month old and as frisky as any young animal could be, she would need real help to survive the upcoming winter.

After the pups were born she and Temo had made plans to build a shelter for them to huddle in so they could escape the cold and biting wind. The filly was an inquisitive one and bounded up to the fence as she approached, nickering curiously. The grey mare tensed visibly as Jace reached over the fence but relaxed when she saw that the canine only ruffled her young foal's short mane. Before being caught from the wild by Jace they had been born on a horse farm, its primary purpose was supplying horse meat, pelts and bones to the surrounding packs and villages, so they were nervous beings even around Jace who had proved herself trustworthy.

The filly pulled her head back and attempted to suckle on her ash colored fingers, Jace laughed and moved them out of reach, leaning her swollen stomach against the fence, reliving the pressure on her back. She grinned as the foal lost interest in her and gamboled back to her mama for a drink and then ran in dizzying circles around her uncle, the white stallion doing his best to ignore the grey bullet but ultimately was drawn into a game of chase and catch. Jace could watch the horses play all day, it had a calming effect on her to see them so happy and care free. No longer did they have to fear being killed and eaten or forced to fight for sport something that Jace found to be extremely disgusting and horrible.

It was during this quiet moment whilst the most stressful thing happening to her was a slight wind and the dark clouds whirling around overhead that a shot of pain flashed through her stomach. The woman let out a short gasp and doubled over whilst clutching her belly. The horses stopped in their games to watch her as she leaned over against the fencing letting out short cries of pain. As she suffered with her distress and discomfort. The grey female and her foal began to edge closer to see if she was alright only to leap back in shock and fear as the woman suddenly raised her head to the sky and let forth a howl calling for Temo to come back home, that she needed his help. 'Come, come, it's time, it's time'

Her call died into silence and she could only hope he was within hearing distance of it, if not then she would be giving birth alone and to be honest, quite scared. She would be a mother, a real mother, to children that lived and breathed, that moved and thought, real lives unlike the ones she had struggled to bring into the world not so long ago that had no chance of lasting. The female panted heavily as she leaned against the fence, severely hampered by the weight at her front and the agony shooting through her, it was difficult to walk so instead she simply held onto the fence and waited for help to arrive.
