Ayasha was doing her duties as a scout by patrolling the borders. Her mind however was preoccupied. She had two main things on her mind: her age and Maska. In terms of her age, she had just turned one. Was something supposed to happen now that she was one? She supposed she could take a mate now but the boy she wanted wasn’t turning one for another month. Speaking of Liam, she hadn’t really seen him around recently. She hoped that nothing had happened to him. She did worry about her boyfriend and whether he would listen to those butterflies or not. She dreaded the day when he did.

As for Maska, she hadn’t heard much from him or his goons, which was a good thing in her opinion. Apparently, their “attackers” had him and the guardians as their prisoners and were taking control of AniWaya. To her and many others, the supposed attackers were actually saviors and she felt they were better of under their leadership rather than Maska’s.

She headed to the area of Adagio Creek and needed a bit of a rest. She was still working on healing from all the fighting but was starting to feel much better. Plus, her siblings were back. So she found a cavern and went inside to sit down and be alone. Yet as she ducked her head to avoid hitting it on the ceiling, she spotted one of the former prisoners, Ephraim. She wondered what he was doing here and if he would stay in AniWaya. If he decided to leave, she wouldn’t blame him. ”Hi!” Her voice was cheerful and easy, much different from when they first met.
