Backdated to the night of Nov. 6th. Set in the Damp woods.

Yiska had been putting the finishing touches on her den. She was pleased with it and the warmth it provided from the cold of the oncoming winter. She looked down at her handy work with a pleasing smirk. "Perfect.....Now all I need is some fur." She looked around, wondering where there would be good game trails around this area. Shrugging, she shifted into her Optime form and headed east. The air was damp from the latest storm and the earth was muddy beneath her paws.

She squished her way down a slope and into a narrow valley, sensing the game near by. Staying near the trees she worked her way down towards the herd of deer. The sun was late in the sky and the woman was in perfect camoflouge for hunting the skittish herbavours. Quietly as she could, she squished her way as close as she could to the deer, freezing when their large ears perked up to try and hear her. Her yellows eyes skimmed the herd as she slowly braided her long hair, keeping it out of the way for when she delivered the deathly bite to the animal's neck. Finally her golden gaze rested on a larger male. She worked through her mind how she would have to bring the buck down without doing much damage to his thick pelt.

Yiska was just about to charge the large male when she lost her foot holds and went sliding down the slick slope. The woman cursed when she began to roll, causing the startled deer to take off, and her to end up a muddy heep at the bottom of the hill. Coming slowly to her senses, she groaned at her aching body. The female fought to gain footing in the mud but when she did she realized all too soon that she was in deeper trouble then she thought. The stench of the beast hit her only a moment before the bear was charging her.

Her first instinct was to fight, but she knew better and tried to run back up the muddy slope. However, she only ended up sliding back down. The large beast took it's first swipe and missed her rump only by a few inches. This caused the wolf to slip down right underneath the bear. Not exactly the best place in the world, but Yiska used it to her advantage to strike the bear's stomach with her long claws. She got a few good hits in before the beast stood to its full height, looking down at her with raging eyes. The wolfess rolled out the way just in time before the crushed her with its angry stomp, and was able to put a few feet between her and the beast.

She had only moments to determine that there was no easy way out before the large creature turned and set its gaze on her again. Realizing she was trapped, she had no other choice but to fight for her life. The big black thing looked at her with rage in its eyes and she returned the look with a snarl. "Well? Come one then!" She shouted. The bear charged her and she leaped up onto its back, fighting to get a good grip on its thick neck. However, the bear stood and lost balace, causing the fighting pair to fall backwards. Yiska was under the full force of the large beast falling on her. Her breath was knocked out of her and it took her longer to recover then the animal. As she fought to gain breath and footing, the bear was able to land a good swipe. Raking its claws across her lower ribs and stomach. Yiska didn't have time nor the air to scream before she was slamed into a tree. Ridding her of her conciousness.
