Helotes had been watching her, secretly, making sure that every move she made was up to snuff. She had healed up nicely, he had even seen her move around in her newly acquired two legged form, noting of course that it wasn’t half bad looking. Today, she had returned to the guest house and he had set upon wandering the mansion grounds. He had fully healed now, all his bandages removed, including the one on his tail. The wound looked pretty nasty, scabbing and dark with healing blood, the majority of the fur having been ripped away, but he knew it would grow back.
He was crouching at the stream near the guest house now, it was chilly be he needed a wash and was dipping his paw into the water and bringing it up to his neck. The fresh, cold water felt good on his skin and he closed his eyes and sighed. He was getting bored, he had been riding so much that Yegua had settled down mostly and his backside no longer ached, but he wanted something new, he wanted to fight! Perhaps he should seek out Carrion again for another spar, get some of his aggression out.
Speaking about aggression, Helotes heard some shuffling towards the guest house and quickly looked over. There she stood, Vesper, on four legs as usual. She didn’t like her new form, something which just tickled Helotes to no end. However, he wondered what she was doing, just standing there on the porch and so he made his way over.
Once he was in her sight he stopped, not joining her on the porch but instead leaning against a tree and crossing his arms, Vesper. He said curtly in greeting. He had avoided her since the day he saw her in the infirmary, but today he figured he’d talk to her again. She’d been here so long, he wanted some kind of update.
