Our brand of punishment

The sky it burns its self out,
the trees rot down to nothing,
Throats dry out and corpses fill the sidewalks
These promenades our graveyards.

They grew bored quickly, and Panda had taken a joint from her pocket and she had brought her steed closer to Venom's, to where they were barely inches apart and she leaned her head on his shoulder as she lit the end of the joint and took a puff off of it. She closed her wary eyes as she waited for them to be greeted. She passed the joint to Venom, whom took it and puffed off it himself. They did not care that they were in the presence of children, it wasn't like they were actively trying to get the children high, nor were they blowing the smoke in their direction, so it really shouldn't matter much. Nor did they really care if anyone thought their actions to be wrong. Venom would give them a new asshole if they thought the two to be wrong in whatever way.

The scent of another was the first to tip the group off, even over the smell of the marijuana that burned, and soon there would be a form on the horizon, heading towards them. Venom had passed the joint back to the woman and his eyes went straight to the new wolf, and his surrounding aura. Distrust, wariness, a bright red showed this to Venom. Venom's own aura shifted as well, which Panda felt, and his had turned to a golden color, it only ever showing this color when he was growing protective of himself and those around him. She opened her eyes and looked at the being whom approached. She grew apprehensive. She put a hand on her belly and she rubbed it, a silent sign to her unborn children that were still brewing in her womb that everything would be okay, even though they would only feel the girl's emotions rather than seeing what was actually going on. What if they were to find the traitors here? Would they be struck down? The whore and her rat might as well be in both of the eyes of the loyal Taurus'. They had thought of leaving Anathema several times, yes, but they would not betray the pack in any way like the two they were searching for did. They were welcome to leave, yes, Naniko told this to them herself, but they were not to break any laws and then flee in the hopes that they face no consequence. Panda and Venom both would own up rather than have Naniko send the pack after them.

Alaki answered to the other male when he had asked what he could do to accommodate them. Venom stared intensely at the male, his eyes daring, and tense. The ones they looked for were not friends, they were traitors whom needed to be punished. Venom would be damned if they were going to get away with what they had done to their Rakeeb, to all of Anathema by thinking they could get away with betraying the laws of the pack. It was not like it was murder, no, but it was something more sacred than the life of another, it was the bounding of ones soul to another that they broke, and souls meant so much more than the physical body that they dwelt in until their time came. Panda puffed on the joint one last time, for it was now a roach and she tossed it to the ground. If they are here, you might as well just give them up. We have business with them. Panda spoke, her voice much less kind than it should have been really.
