Isabella patted the mare's neck, gaze instantly starting to scan the surrounding area, especially the border of skulls. Had someone come to see who was wandering just beyond the borders? As far as she knew, she had not yet trespassed into the territory itself. There was nothing to fear. But the mare was still very unaccustomed to the woman riding her back. They were not yet lifetime friends, especially considering Ducky already had a master before.
