Shawchert’s routine started normal; as it always did, he got up and semoved his traps, this time though he had his daughter with him. Juliet. He was happy to show the young girl his routine and to show her that the pack would continue to be safe as long as he and his mother continued their work for the pack itself. He showed her his way around, pointing out bends in the leaves and branches, and showing her how he knew what made them.
“Only a very skilled luperci could hide himself well enough without being able to be tracked.”
He said, the thought brought him to Argul who had been pretty good about hiding his own self from the scene where he’d murdered the children. He hoped there would be no one as skilled as that to come into the lands, or they would be hurting once again. For now things were peaceful and that was the way Shawchert was goign to see to it. The two were no out near the borders as he showed her where there had been deer earlier. It was good practice if she were to become a hunter.
“There’s not usually anyone who’s come inside the border, but if there is we want to try to track their trail so we can see if they headed out or not, if they did we leave the trail at the border and continue on, if not, well they would have a big surprise comign to them.”
Shaw explained as he stood back up wiping his hands on his leg to get the dirt off, he looked down to see if Juliet had any questions for him. If not they could be on their way, ut usually the girl had one, or a million questions.
