M- There's Curses Lurking in Our Heads
#2
It's fine! We were planning on him being discovered anyways 8D Also, I used a decoy so that Turnstone would fling himself at the group. He thinks he's being clever, but he's really not. OFF WITH HIS HEAD! Big Grin Maybe after two more posts you can kill him? :3
He had managed to make it this far without detection, so why had he failed now? He had been silent and stealthy the entire time, blending in with the surrounding trees as he trailed the group. Even though he knew he was vastly outnumbered, he wanted to ensure that they did not come back to Crimson Dreams ever again. They had been horrid, wretched luperci that had been nothing but rude from the beginning. After the war, Turnstone had a difficult time believing in their words and he thought they were actually there at Crimson Dreams to assess the damage and take them out. Turnstone refused to let this happen.

Everything was going well until they stopped. It was all very sudden and Turnstone didn't know what had given him away. But he knew that something had done it. He quickly dashed behind a bush as they advanced, but he quickly realized they were going the wrong way. Was something else out there?

Then, he realized that he hadn't been the only one following the group. There was another creature -- a cat? A wolf? He couldn't tell -- off in the distance. He eyed the creature and then shook his head. Then he smelled it: it was another wolf. A loner. What was it doing? Nothing, apparently, because then it dashed away. Turnstone, figuring this would serve as a good distraction, rounded around the group and made a quick dash for one of the horses. A brown male with a lot of scars was sitting on it. Turnstone raced for the horse, his weapon in hand, and dove to strike at its legs and bring the rider down. All the while, the crows screeched overhead.
