OOC: Why don't we wrap this up soon?

IC: Frodo seemed glad to be of use and she grinned at his enthusiasm. Yet he then asked about Nayati, which brought up the war. ”Well, he left after he was exiled during the war. And I haven’t seen him since.” She didn’t blame him for not coming back but she also didn’t think that Frodo didn’t know about the war. She assumed that most people had heard about the war so she didn’t think about the fact that he hadn’t been around for the war.

But he asked if he was in and she nodded. The war made her sad and she unconsciously reached up and touched her healed scar. It was noticeable but growing fainter by the day. It would always remind her about what it cost to kill someone and go to war. The scar was a permanent reminder of that awful time and how the other pack’s might never trust them fully again.

Then he brought up a very painful topic. She blinked back the tears that threatened to fall. ”She fell from a horse and hit her head. That’s part of why Nayati isn’t back. This place holds too many memories, including why they left.” She didn’t know how close Frodo was to either but she had learned to ride from Liliana. She did give a slight smile, or tried to. ”When your settled, want to go hunting? I can scout out prey for you and help with the actual hunting.” She wanted to leave the topic of the war for another time.
