Breaking away from his brother's embrace, Aemon grinned back at him, nodding his own approval of Ithiel's health. Thanks; you too, bro, he said with a laugh as he clapped his darker brother on the back. Thick cords of silvery hair flew as his head turned suddenly at the shout, a voice that could only be Kastra's. Oh yeah...? he chuckled at her correction. You guys don't look so bad, he offered with a shrug and a grin, ruby-red eyes outlining first her figure, and then the two horses that came with her. Despite the thin layer of dust covering their party, Aemon thought they looked quite well, after all. Nice horses, he commented as she dismounted and walked up to them. The animals were beautiful; lean and willowy, but clearly agile with well muscled legs. He should have taken a horse.
Aemon admired the horses' beauty for only a moment before his gaze turned back to Kastra, noticing that her fur was rather dingy after all. He turned to face Inferni's lands as she did, and nodded towards them. Yes, Inferni... he said, pausing for a moment before clearing his throat. How was he going to tell them about Gabriel? His face bore his troubled thoughts clearly, and he grasped the spear in front of him with both hands, leaning lightly on the blunt end. I've explored most of it. The land is nice; it's open and easy to navigate. There's a good amount of game, too, he explained, chewing on his lip as he tried to avoid the subject of his father. What if Kastra decided to leave without Gabriel here? Frowning heavily, he took a deep breath to steady his words and his resolve. Gabriel no longer leads here, he said, looking first to Kastra, and then to Ithiel, gauging their reactions.
