How to Make a Trap

It had only been a couple days since the girl from Salsola had tried to enslave Terra. Yet already she was out and about off the packlands, looking for trouble. Facing death never really fazed her, no matter how bad a situation. Terra would be scared if she'd understood the girl's true intent, but slavery was foreign to her. In her mind nobody could touch her freedom, leaving death and pain as the only things to dance around in life.

With that in mind Terra had come to the city, planning on setting up some games of her own. She wouldn't really hurt someone, but Terra loved terrifying people with her games. It always amused her to match wits with someone else and see who came out on top. The city was perfect for ambushes. Terra had spent the last couple hours setting up several traps for unsuspecting canines. If one was clever they could escape. If not, well, Terra would let them out the next time she came. That could be a while, though.

The last trap she'd set up was in an alley. It had taken a lot of work, but Terra had rigged up a couple cars to fall blocking the entrance when someone tripped over a rope she'd tied. It was her most complex trap to date, though this was mostly due to her being unused to having hands. As bait Terra had bit herself and dripped blood, knowing that most canines would investigate where they thought a wounded companion could be. Chuckling to herself Terra left the alley, careful not to pull on the rope. Her next one wouldn't be as complex, planning on making use of the holes in the city.
